01About Harmoniq
Acoustics, supplied and installed.
Harmoniq Acoustic Solutions is led by Kristof Zernikow, drawing on 17 years of hands-on experience in flooring and surfaces.
That background sits behind every job: an eye for how a room is built, how it is used, and how to finish it well. Today Harmoniq applies it to acoustics, supplying and installing wall panelling and flooring that calms echo and softens sound transfer, from Christchurch across North Canterbury and Ashburton.
We work with schools, workplaces, healthcare practices and commercial spaces. Because we both supply the product and fit it ourselves, there is one team accountable for the result, and the practical, no-jargon advice to match.

02How we work
Measure, specify, supply, install.
A straightforward way of working that suits both simple rooms and the more complex jobs.
Measure
We come to the space, listen to the problem and measure up, including the awkward layouts, like the double-curve ceiling at Riccarton Doctors.
Specify
We recommend the right product and coverage for the room and the budget, working around existing services like sprinklers, lighting and smoke detectors.
Supply
For complex jobs we put the space into a DWG drawing and have panels manufactured off site, arriving pre-cut and ready to fit.
Install
We fit the panels ourselves, with cost-effective solutions that improve the acoustics while respecting the original design of the space.
Supply & install
One team, from the drawing to the finished wall.
- We supply the acoustic products and install them ourselves, with no handing the job between a supplier and a separate contractor.
- For tricky spaces we measure up, produce a DWG drawing and have panels manufactured off site so they arrive pre-cut, as we did for Riccarton Doctors.
- We work around what is already in the ceiling and walls, and aim for cost-effective solutions that respect the original design.
